A doctor aspiring towards Orthopaedic Surgery, currently serving the Singapore Army

My current sports medicine practice
(1)The Army – Managing Musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries of its servicemen on a daily basis (2)Volunteer Doctor for the Special Olympics

My goals in sports medicine
I hope to develop to become a competent Orthopaedic Surgeon who is blessed with the knowledge and skills to manage patients and athletes with a myriad of sports-related injuries.

My own sporting background
I play a wide variety of team sports including soccer, basketball and racket sports. I swim almost daily to keep fit.

My favourite sporting moment or heroes
(1) Sydney Olympics 2000: Ian Thorpe’s Anchor leg for the 4x100m freestyle which won Australia’s first Gold and World record in the event (2) Roger Federer’s 5 set thriller against Nadal in Wimbledon 2008
